I bought this because I wanted a hand strap for my Kindle Paperwhite to make it easier to hold, and I am left handed. Most straps (like pretty much everything else in this right-handers world) are designed for right handers. This one is centered, so it can be used by either hand. I wanted something muted but attractive, and with enough color that I could find it on black surfaces (my old one blended in with our furniture). This works well for both of those needs. I really wish it had a second magnetic clasp to hold the cover to the back of the case while I am reading - as it is, I have to hold it in place with my thumb so that it doesn't swing wide while reading it. So that kind of defeats the purpose of a hand strap! There *is* however, a magnet that holds it shut when not in use. It is a wee bulky - I like to slip my kindle into my purse to carry with me, but this case is a bit large for that. I like it well enough to keep it for now, and if you don't care about the magnet or bulkiness, this is a good, quality buy.The case is well made. I love that it puts my kindle in sleep mode. Battery is lasting longer and it wakes up much faster.I would buy this again.I actually bought 2 of these for Kindle products. It works nicely and I like having the pocket. I'm not 100% sold on the elastic as pertaining to a holder. If you are holding it in your left hand and "turning" the page, most of the time, you go a page back. Works fine on the right hand. It would purchase again.I love these case. I’m left handed and most cases like this had the handle on the side intended for use by right handed people. I love that the handle is in the middle so I can easily use it with either hand. I also love how cute and light the case is.Excellent cover. I like the strap makes it easy to hold. The sleep mode does not always work but I found I can tap the power button to turn it off or back on.It's beautiful. Easy to use.GreatBought this case for my kindle and it’s great! Die Schlaufe ist super, aber nur, wenn man den Kindle in der rechten Hand hält. In der linken Hand (im Liegen) klappt der ganze Kindle gerne auf und ich erschrecke mich da sehr gerne und muss dann wieder mühselig suchen, wo ich gerade war, weil ich durch das hektische Auffangen mehrere Seiten ungewollt umgeblättert habe.
